Ingredients & Directions
2 c Sifted cake flour
1 1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Honey
2 Eggs
3 Squares unsweetened
-chocolate; melted
2/3 c Water
1 ts Vanilla
Combine dry ingredients and sift three times. Cream butter and add honey
gradually beating hard after each addition to keep mixture thick. Add 1/4
of flour and beat until smooth. Add eggs one at a time beating well. Add
melted chocolate. Blend in remaining flour alternately with water. Beat
well after each addition, add vanilla. Bake in greased layer pan for 50
minutes at 350? or until cake tester comes out clean.
